There are various hotel options available to you as a guest in Disney World. I will explain to you the different options you can choose from that will meet everybody needs.

Disney Value Resorts:
There are four resorts to choose from that fit in this category. They are your basic entry level hotels, so if you are on a tight budget this would be the resorts you are looking for. The resorts you have to choose from are the following:

All Stars Movies
All Star Music
All Star Sports
Pop Century

These are all themed according to movies, music, sports and century. These are very cool resorts and they are all in the same vicinity, they are also the same distance from Orlando International Airport roughly 22 miles. They are all in the same price range so that makes it even easier to choose, all you need to do is choose your theme and enjoy you stay.

Moderate Resorts:
There are four resorts to choose from again here in this category. They are a step up from the value resorts, a little bit more luxury than the Value Resorts. The resorts you have to choose from are the following:

Coronado Springs
Caribbean Beach
Port Orleans French Quarter
Port Orleans Riverside

These resorts are all similar in price only difference is that their themes separate them. So you choose a theme that best suits your needs. There are a bit closer to the airport than the Value resorts but not by much.

Deluxe Resorts:
There are 10 deluxe resorts to choose from, all of them are totally breath taking each of them making you feel like you are in that world that Walt Disney created. The resorts you have to choose from are the following:

The Contemporary Hotel
Contemporary Resort Hotel
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Boardwalk Inn
Grand Floridian
Polynesian Hotel
Beach Club
Yacht Club
Swan Hotel
Dolphin Hotel

All these resorts are top class if you truly would like to spend a couple days in your fantasy land of choice. They are slightly more expensive but so worth it.

Disney Villas
In this category there are only four villas to choose from however they are well worth it as they are four star resorts. If luxury is what you are looking for, this is it. The villas you can choose from are the following:

Boardwalk Villas
Beach Club Villas
Old Key West Resort
Saratoga Springs Resort

These are really the ultimate villas. If you are asking yourself what their price is, it means you cannot afford it. Maybe you should still look at the dream because it is an awesome dream to be had.

Fort Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Campground
These resorts are going back to the ground roots, so to speak. If you love the outdoors and camping I suggest you choose from the following:

Campground
Fort Wilderness Lodge
Wilderness Villas

These lodges and campgrounds are truly amazing places to spend ones time, and believe me it is well worth it.

The Disney World Grand Floridian Resort Hotel

Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort is considered to be the flagship resort of the Disney Empire. Located across the lake from Magic Kingdom and along the Monorail line, guests will not have a hard time getting to the amusement park and back as well as have see Cinderella's castle.

There are 2,112 guest rooms. You can choose to stay at the standard guest room that has a maximum of 5 guests, the club concierge room and the suites that can have up to 8 guests.

But the best thing about it is being able to avail of extra magic hours which entitle you to enter the park an hour early before opening or stay up to three hours after the park officially closes.

In the hotel, you can eat in one of 4 restaurants. Only one is considered character dining namely 1900 Park Fare. The rest are fine dining establishments namely Victoria and Albert's, Citricos and Narcoossee's. If you want to relax, the Floridian has a full service spa as well as a fitness center inside.

The hotel also has activities for kids. They have Lady Bug Release every Thursday at 11 am, Adventure Time daily at 3:30 pm, Arts and Crafts four days a week at 12:30 pm, Wonderland Tea Party, Pirate Cruise and Kids' Adventures in Cooking.

If you don't want to wait until closing time at the theme park for the fireworks show, you have an excellent view by the docks or by the beach.

Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort is 25 miles away from Orlando International Airport. By booking in advance, a shuttle will be there to pick you up once you disembark from the plane then pull up on the driveway so can check in.
